Our Fulfilment Process

Our butler paging systems were specifically developed for use in large, old, often listed buildings whose traditional construction presents a very challenging environment for any wireless system.

Accordingly, our systems have always employed ‘smart’, long range technology of the type used in critical applications such as fire and telemetry.

We will be happy to demonstrate the effectiveness of our superior technology in your own home as part of our fulfilment process.

Our process

We design a system unique to you and your requirements.

The fulfilment process we go through varies slightly for each client because of this, but the basics remain the same and are outlined here:

  • First, we undertake an initial telephone consultation to understand the client’s requirements and to advise on design, materials, operation options and any other features which are required.
  • We then follow up with an outline proposal, based on the above, specifying exactly what equipment is to be delivered and how is will be configured to work. This may well include images of bell styles and other elements of the solution for approval / further refinement. We will also give budgetary pricing and lead time guidance.
  • Once the final specification is approved by the client, we will then confirm the pricing.
  • If it is necessary, we will provide demonstration equipment so that the client can satisfy themselves that the system will work properly in their residence before ordering.
  • Upon receipt of the order, all necessary parts will be procured and our invoice will be issued.
  • We will keep the client informed with regular progress updates. Lead time forecasts will be given.
  • Payment is requested before shipment.
  • All systems are shipped by courier.
  • We anticipate that from the initial conversation to delivery to the client is typically two to four weeks.

Continuity in Communication

Our exceptional range of Butler Paging Systems also have the option to include discreet, unobtrusive Steward calling solutions for superior yachts to ensure that the transition from main residences to life on-board is straightforward and effortless.  All needs are taken care of proficiently and at the touch of a button.

Our hand crafted, bespoke Steward Call buttons gives owners or designers scope to specify an appropriate style for the device and to select from a range of exotic hardwoods to blend, or contrast with, the yacht’s interior décor.

In operation they are simplicity itself. A single push informs the Steward of the location where service is required.

They are much easier to implement than the more complex, dedicated yacht based systems. Integrating with Crestron and other yacht management system via a simple electrical interface rather than a complex LAN based connection.

They are also far more cost effective.

Kitchen "Servant Call" boxes

The same superior communications technology that powers our Butler-CALL systems can be used to breathe new life into historic kitchen call bell/indicator units.

Originating in the late 19th century, such “annunciator” panels became increasingly popular between the wars.

Many are still in place but are now inoperative, primary because of deterioration of the old building wiring which would be both prohibitively expensive and very disruptive to replace.

Bell Technologies now offers a unique solution to this problem enabling kitchen call points placed anywhere in the house to activate the panel wirelessly.

Should your panel require additional TLC to restore it to full functionality, be in need of restoration or require a new face plate to display different room names, we can make arrangements on your behalf to have this performed.
